    The cargo are is smaller than other contemporary wagons but BMW have cleverly designed around that with the way the rear seats work. Realistically it seats 4 people not 5. The step up in fit and finish of the 5 series over the 3 series is enormous and the car is a very very nice and comfortable place to be and the driving experience is phenomenal, the 8 speed auto is what sold me on this model of vehicle. I did also test drive a 535i (same wagon but with a turbo) to be honest I don't really notice the difference for driving around because there is so much lag on the turbo model.
